GNU Linux Users Group - Trivandrum

The GNU/Linux Users Group, Trivandrum gave a very warm welcome to the 'Freedom Walk'-ers in a public function held at Christ Nagar School, Trivandrum. The meeting, inaugurated and chaired by the Honrable IT Secretary Dr. Ajay Kumar IAS, was attended by around 50 members of the community and well wishers.

Vimal Joseph (SPACE) led the proceedings and felicitations were given by V. Sasikumar(FSF), Joseph C. M(IT Advisor to CM). A slideshow of some of the photos taken during the freedom walk was displayed simultaneously.

Before the formal function started the Freedom Walkers(Anoop John, Cherry George Mathew and Sooraj K.) planted a tree as a green souvenir of the Freedom Walk campaign. This was organized by the Kerala team of WWF India.
